This is a small penthouse guest suite above a century old traditional building in a fruit and wine area. It's in the Similkameen Valley with mountains all around. Apex Mountain ski area is nearby. A river and walking trails are very close. A dog park is a block away. There's a large grocery store across the street. A tavern that often has entertainment is just around the corner. Restaurants are within a few blocks. Everything in town is a short walk, such as pharmacies. There's lots of fresh fruit stands along the highways.
This is a great place from which to road trip the Okanagan areas as well as the Similkameen Valley. Fishing is popular on the lakes and the Similkameen river. There's a nearby public pool and playgrounds for the kids. The village recreation center is not far up the hill, but you may want to drive there. The Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory is worth a visit; check opening times. The community garden full of flowers is a few minutes walk.
The heritage Grist Mill still operates in Keremeos, and is a place to visit, especially if there's an event on the grounds.

This is a great base to explore the BC lower interior and Okanagan area from.
Wineries abound.
There's a 145 year old working grist mill about a 5 minute drive away. It has nice gardens and often hosts live concerts.
