Located in the centre of Frauenfeld, Gasthof zum Falken is right next to the castle and a 4-minute walk from the train station. It features a restaurant and bar with a terrace, and free WiFi is available. The Gasthof zum Falken colourfully decorated rooms all feature a flat-screen TV, safe, and a bathroom with a hairdryer. In the restaurant, guests can enjoy traditional Swiss cuisine, including seasonal dishes and dishes made from Swiss beef on a hot stone grill. Half-board is available on request. The bar offers a large selection of international beers, fine single malts, cocktails, and regional wines. Shishas and cigars can be enjoyed in the smokers’ lounge. A large public car park is on site. It can be used free of charge between 19:00 and 08:00, as well as on weekends. A public indoor pool, a cinema, a fitness centre, and various museums and shops are just steps away. Zurich, Konstanz and St. Gallen can be reached by car within 20 to 30 minutes.
