The beautiful building on Lake Uri is the smallest village in the canton of Uri. Its sheltered location, surrounded by the heights of the adjacent Nidwalden mountains and the green-blue sea bay, give it an unmistakable charisma. The silence and original naturalness made the village desirable for those seeking peace and quiet, as one can never completely shake the feeling that the south must be just around the corner. Mediterranean vegetation blends wonderfully with the clear lines of the north.
