Pension Dandidis is a beachfront guest house, overlooking the Ionian Sea from its elevated position on a cliff. Family-run, it features rooms with views of Agios Gordis coast and a beach bar-restaurant. Fitted with wood furnishings, rooms at Pension Dandidis are bright and airy. They all include a TV set with satellite channels, air conditioning and a fridge. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Guests can start their day with a Greek-style buffet breakfast. Featuring an outdoor terrace with direct sea views, the cafe bar serves snacks, refreshments and drinks throughout the day. At the on-site restaurants, guests may enjoy light snacks, refreshing salads, traditional Greek cuisine and fresh fish. Pension Dandidis is 15 km from Corfu Town. In 1978 Alexandros Doukakis and his family, opened their Restaurant and slowly build their pension named it Dandidis, after family’s nickname. The «Dandidis» nickname lasts about five generations. Today the Dandidis Seaside Pension & Restaurant with almost 40 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, it is a place where you can recharge your batteries in a homely, idyllic setting located right in front of the beach, which explains why so many loyal visitors return here each summer. Since November 2015 Nikolaos Doukakis took over his family business. Nikolaos is committed to improve continually the offering services and products, in order to provide the best experience to the Dandidis Seaside Pension & Restaurant guests. Looking to the future, our aim is to offer our guests a unique holiday experience, based to the spirit of the authentic Greek hospitality.
Agios Gordios, on the island of Corfu in Greece, enjoys a dramatic rural location overlooking the open sea on the isolated west coast. The village consists of low-rise, pastel coloured houses set in gardens with lemon trees and bougainvillea, built into a hillside above a long sandy beach, and backed by plunging rugged slopes covered with olive groves and cypresses. The village faces west so it captures some of the most stunning sunsets on the island. Fishing and farming are still important to the local economy as well as tourism. The beach of Agios Gordios is a beautiful long sandy beach (about 1.5 km long) which has also private areas for nudists and to those who enjoy privacy. On the busy part of the beach (about 600 meters) you can either opt for relaxation (there are beds and umbrellas for hire) or get a bit more involved. There are boats, canoes and pedallos for hire that offer the opportunity for some explorations. Beyond the beach: Just 3km (2 miles) away, by both road and footpath, lies the authentic inland village of Sinarades, with a Folklore Museum (opposite the Saint Nikolaos church) in an old house, furnished just as it would have been in the 19th century.
