Doukas Caldera Suites offers the opportunity to experience genuine Santorini living with authentic cave suites built at the top of the Fira's cliff tops, whilst boasting a modern and cozy interior.
Situated safely on the top of the cliff tops of Fira with only 38steps to reach us, in a tranquil setting but also in the centre of Fira, our Villa consists of 2 luxury suites, both offer cooling systems for those hot days, private indoor slightly heated plunge pools with hydra massage (28degrees approx. 2x2m) for ultimate soothing after or before a long day of exploring or idleness, an equipped kitchenette with all the essential amenities for a self-reliant stay, fridge, espresso machine, toaster, microwave, kettle, bluetooth sound system & WiFi internet.
Embedded at the top of the cliff, easy to walk to even for those with walking and breathing difficulties, we are amongst the well known sugar cubed houses built next to each other and into the cliff tops, Doukas Caldera Suites allows you to capture the breathtaking wonders of the caldera amidst the deep blue Aegean Sea. Enjoy magical panoramic views of the caldera and capital along with sunset views most of the year from your private top terrace, or simply relax in your private petit patio.

We are an easy 38steps to reach from the meeting point in comparison to others with over 150steps so the centre of Fira is less than 1 minute stroll away. Fira is not only the life and buzz of Santorini where you will be spoilt for choice for restaurants with all types of cuisines, bars, shops and nightlife, but also the centre of the island meaning there is no long journey to reach any part of the island. The town is filled with cobbled narrow paths with most of it being pedestrian. Walkers will be glad to know from Fira you can walk to the neigbouring villages along the cliff tops offering amazing caldera panoramic views, such as Firostefani, Imerovigli and last but not least Oia
We are approximately 70meters away from the Prehistoric Museum of Fira, 10meters to the closest restaurant, 4minutes walk to the closest big supermarket, 3minutes walk to the closest bakery, 50meters to the Metropolitan Church, a 5minute walk to the famous cable car which takes you to the old port and only a 4km distance from the Santorini Airport, 5km to the nearest beach Kamari, 8km from Athinios Port and 14km from the traditional village of Oia. ATMs, Main Bus station, Pharmacies are also just a couple of minutes walking distance.
