Quietly situated, Mountain View Guesthouse is an Irish Tourist Board approved family-run 4-star guest house. It features mature gardens, free Wi-Fi and free private parking, and is situated just 3 km from the village of Oughterard, ideally located for exploring Connemara and Galway city. The rooms offer a flat-screen TV, telephone, and tea and coffee making facilities. The private bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. In the morning breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden. The breakfast menu offers a choice of juice, yoghurts, cheese, cereals, cooked breakfast options and a selection of breads and croissants. Oughterard is home to various restaurants, bars and shops. The area surrounding Mountain View Guesthouse is ideal for outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing and golfing. Oughterard Golf Club is just 2 km away and Aughnanure Castle a 5-minute drive. Fishing can be enjoyed on Lough Corrib, which also offers boat cruises.
