Ryokan Kinoe is located in central Kyoto, just a 5-minute walk from the Gion area. It offers a traditional stone garden, 24-hour public baths and spacious rooms with private bathrooms. Guests at Kinoe Ryokan can stretch out on the soft tatami floors and comfortable futon bedding. Each room includes a seating area and refrigerator. Fresh tea and a satellite flat-screen TV make it easy to relax. Music and dance performances by geisha or maiko can be booked, for a fee. Guests can unwind with a massage or get sightseeing tips from the concierge. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the lobby. Multi-course meals (kaiseki) featuring seasonal specialities are served for breakfast and dinner. Each meal is prepared using fresh local ingredients and is served in guests’ rooms. Western breakfast can be requested at time of booking. Ryokan Kinoe is only a 6-minute walk from Yasaka Shrine and a 15-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple. JR Kyoto Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. Free parking is provided.
