Kathmandu Guest House offers affordable accommodation conveniently located in the popular tourist district of Thamel. It features an on-site restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Rooms feature garden views and an en suite bathroom that has a shower. KGH is an immersive experience, tastefully serving authentic Nepali, Chinese, Indian and Continental cuisine with most probably the best Himalayan coffee. A cultural highlight of KGH is the recently opened Museum of Nepali Art (MoNA)—one of the few private museum inside a hotel, showcasing a wide range of traditional to contemporary visual arts. Also on the premises is the Kathmandu Art House, an engaging open studio where guests can observe artists at work and purchase original artworks. Guests can purchase unique jewellery at the hotel’s gift shop or have a beauty treatment at the salon. It also has a convenience store and a tour desk that helps with travel arrangements. Kathmandu Guest House is 7 km from Tribhuvan Airport and Patan Durbar Square. Numerous dining options and the Kathmandu Durbar Square are within a walking distance from the hotel.
