Legendary Jan arrived in Storms River 1980, the third owner of the then known Tsitsikamma Forest Inn, now the local hotel. Jan's interest in classic cars goes back 50 years and his collection included Cadillacs, Buicks, Chevrolets and many other beauties. In the wake of the pandemic, he decided to call it a day! He was also the founder of the Elvis Festival being an Elvis "devotee." Much of his priceless memorabilia was used to establish the local diner back in the 1990's. Antoinette, Jan's wife, is an avid artist and has an eclectic and charming little studio from where she churns out her passions. Jan and Antoinette are now happily retired and looking forward to welcoming you to their home.

Storms River area is known as the pearl of the Garden Route, in the heart of the majestic Tsitsikamma. With high peaked mountains, indigenous forests, the enchanting Indian Ocean all encasing a charming and characterful village with extraordinary folk, little compares. Storms River Village is truly unique, being the adventure capital and situated between two National Parks. A most interesting and fascinating fact about our area is that the bees are productive throughout the year and this is credited to having the most moderate climate in THE WORLD, ensuring 12 months of pollen.
