Good location, 5-7 minutes walk from Weissbad station. There is no grocery shop in this small village so better to buy food before you come. Staffs are all friendly and kind and breakfast is wonderful, because a bakery shop is inside the hotel and you can buy sweats in the evening, too. The room is simple but practical and cleaned every day. Shower looks new and hot water comes anytime. They kept my rucksack after check out. I enjoyed my stay and would like to stay again, thank you! From 3 overnights in this hotel you can get Appenzell holiday card, which includes all public transport, 3 mountain cable cars, entry of many museums and sports facility etc… very generous offer!

This is an amazing inn with a superb host, excellent facilities, incredible food (definitely book dinner here!). It is a very hard place to leave. Everything about this inn is great!

Everything was perfect, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good, the rooms were clean, we even had a separate door to the room to make it soundproof. Our room was next to the breakfast area, so it gets noisy in the mornings, but we couldn't hear a thing with the extra door closed. The whole experience was great!
