United StatesThe room was very pretty. I liked the historic feel to the room and the hotel. The bed was comfy. I liked the rooftop window for lots of fresh air. The room and shared bathroom were spotless. I could walk to everything including the Viking Center. Check in and out was very easy and the host had great communication.

United KingdomWonderful location. Very nice thoughtful staff. Genuine sea view from room. Good food in restaurant in the evening and varied choice for breakfast. Personally I am a light eater but if you like big portions the restaurant is great.

The surroundings of the hotel are really nice, ideal for long walks and bike rides. We had a very spacious room with a balcony overlooking the water. Room was clean and quite new. The restaurant to eat breakfast and dinner is fabulous! Only a five minute walk from the train and bus station and 2 minutes from the Cathedral, museums & Town Hall. I love the fresh gluten-free buns for breakfast cooked by Martin, the way breakfast is served, the roses at the window and the decor. Very clean, comfortable bed, nicely decorated. There is also a dining table and a small seating area in the room. Very clean shared bathroom and kitchenette. With coffee and tea facilities and a microwave. Lidl is only a few 100 meters away. We could park our bicycles safely in the inner courtyard.
