I stayed at the hotel in order to rent a bike and cycle the Shimanami Kaido. It is ideally based for the town which is 5 minute or so walk away for the ferries to Mukaishima Island and for the bike rental vendors too. The room sizes are a little small and probably a bit of a tight squeeze for two people but, as I was staying on my own it was more than adequate for me. The indoor and outdoor lounge spaces for guests were very cozy and the host was kind to tell us more about the concept behind the guesthouse and give us recommendations for the area. Our host was so kind and drove us to the bike oasis where we hired our bikes. We absolutely loved the islands in the seto sea and it was wonderful to be staying on one of them and made to feel so welcome.
