Quiet country setting only 5 minutes from town with fewer guests for a homey atmosphere. The owners were on site and spent time talking to us about things to do and the history of the area. Michelle (the owner) thought of everything - water in the fridge, cups plates and napkins and cutlery, and mosquito repellant so we could sit outside at night, the treats from the local bakery were an added touch. Would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely lovely inn. We found Port Hood to be quiet and the perfect stay after our drive along the Cabot Trail. We loved our room, it was extremely clean and had all the charm that a B&B should. The breakfast was fantastic too, and we enjoyed the ambiance of the dining room in the morning.

Excellent location, l had a gorgeous view of the water. The service is excellent in all respects. The rooms are all decorated in their own way and quirky. Every comfort has been considered. I highly recommend this B & B.

I rang the Blomidon Hotel and explained and the staff welcomed them and told them we would be late and we were able to order a wonderful meal at 8pm The Hotel is beautiful and clean and the staff are caring and nothing is too much trouble. We will be back.
