This is an absolute gem that was a stand out on our trip. The rooms, location and restaurant were all fantastic. Can not recommend highly enough!

Hið fjölskyldurekna Hotel Bären er staðsett 7 km frá Interlaken. The proprietors, our room, the food, Gary the hostess (fantastic!!), the church bells and the views of the Alps were all incredible! The bakery, grocery store across the street was fabulous when opened. It was not opened everyday. This was a true swiss Alps village away from the city and on a vast beautiful mountain range with cows, and horses and beautiful chalets and the people! It was about 20 minutes down a windy road into Interlarken. Perfect location. We had a car but used the bus pass that the hotel gave us which was extremely helpful. We give this place a 15 out of 10 stars. It was just perfect in every way for a small village. Highly recommended

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn. The hotel was very good, the view was very good, but the photo of the hotel in booking.com was not the hotel, it was another hotel, the staff was rude.

The Alpenblick hotel is a family business, situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food. Neat and clean, super friendly and helpful hosts, perfect breakfast. Best view by the side of my window

The Gasthof Schönegg in Goldswil is a typical Swiss Chalet Hotel with rustic-style rooms and a large terrace with panoramic views. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Nice view,staffs,breakfast,clean room. I'll be missing this lovely house.
