El Hotel Bären es un establecimiento de gestión familiar situado a 7 km de Interlaken. Everything! The proprietors, our room, the food, Gary the hostess (fantastic!!), the church bells and the views of the Alps were all incredible! The bakery, grocery store across the street was fabulous when opened. It was not opened everyday. This was a true swiss Alps village away from the city and on a vast beautiful mountain range with cows, and horses and beautiful chalets and the people! It was about 20 minutes down a windy road into Interlarken. Perfect location. We had a car but used the bus pass that the hotel gave us which was extremely helpful. We give this place a 15 out of 10 stars. It was just perfect in every way for a small village. Highly recommended

We stayed at Walida Hotel for 3 nights and had an absolutely lovely experience. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking view of the mountains, including a glimpse of the famous Harder Kulm. One of the best parts was the walking distance to Lake Brienz—such a serene and beautiful spot to enjoy any time of day. The location is also conveniently close to a bus stop, which made getting around easy. Although we couldn’t find a place in Interlaken Ost as originally planned, we’re glad we stayed in Bönigen instead—it was quieter and more charming, and Walinda Hotel was truly a gem in the area. Since we had to leave early each day, the hotel went the extra mile and prepared lunch boxes for us, which included sandwiches, fruits, and juices—an incredibly thoughtful and helpful gesture. The room cleaning service was also attentive and efficient, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. Overall, the stay was well worth the price, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Interlaken/ Lauthrebrunn/ Grindelwald/Brienz area!

Este hotel se encuentra a 200 metros del lago Thun y cerca de las cuevas de Beatus. Hay conexión WiFi gratuita, aparcamiento gratuito y billetes gratuitos de autobús a Interlaken, situado a 4 km. La cama es bastante grande y muy comoda, el cuarto es como si llegaras a la casa de abuela muy ordenado y limpio con ese aspecto antiguo incluyendo el baño. El lugar lo antienden unos viejitos y por lo que leo son los dueños de la casa, definitivamente no lo sientes cómo un hotel. Creo que éramos los únicos hospedandonos y había mucho silencio. Está a unos 20 min de Interlaken y el autobús pasa justo en frente pero hay que estar atentos porque pasa cada hora, nos regalaron un tarjeta para un día de transporte gratis que no usamos pero igual se agradece, el desayuno muy simple cómo en todo Suiza (pan, queso, carnes frías, fruta, yogurt y jugo)
