The family-run Hotel Bären is located 7 km from Interlaken. It offers rustic rooms in a quiet location, Swiss specialities in the restaurant featuring a terrace, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. The view from our room was beautiful over the church bells and the snowed mountains. Very beautiful views from the room and the balcony. Excellent breakfast, the allowed us to have friends not staying at the hotel to join us for breakfast.

Directly on the shore of Lake Brienz, Boutique Hotel Bellevue Iseltwald offers a sun terrace. The best part was the cutest couple who run then BnB. They were very warm and hospitable. I would love to come back to Iseltwald just to visit the property again and meet them :)

Check in time is late 16:30 and if intended to check in earlier, guest are invited to go to another hotel for a check in procedure (400m).

We really enjoyed the meals. Being able to walk to the lake in just a couple minutes and also to the bus stop right at the lake. Old Swiss, charming and cozy. We will definitely come back.
