Staff were amazing, very helpful, and went out of their way for you . An absolutely fantastic selection of whisky would highly recommend staying there .

"The Anchor Inn was a traditional Drovers Inn dating back to 1888. Over recent years, it has undergone tasteful modernisation and now boasts a nautical-themed bar and restaurant area with hearty food... Great room, very large, and beautifully decorated. The accommodation had very tastefully been added on to the side of the pub. Clean and comfortable with a nice view of the loch opposite. Tea/Coffee and biscuits provided in room. Good wi-fi. Good cooked breakfast in the pub. The Anchor pub also serves great food in the evening.

Situated on the shores of the Kyles of Bute, Kames Hotel boasts original Edwardian features, home-cooked food and an extensive range of malt whiskies and local ales. Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The breakfast menu offered a wide selection of options and was cooked to perfection with wonderful ingredients. The hotel has a list of their food suppliers on display and this food provenance is reflected in the wonderful freshly cooked dinners we enjoyed. The main courses were all large portions and very satisfying. The bar had an excellent selection of scottish gins all well worth trying. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and very clean with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. The hosts Irene and Scott are very friendly and made us very welcome.

In scurtul nostru sejur in Scotia am trecut doar o noapte pe la acest hotel. Noi am gazit gazde minunate,care ne-au intampinat cu caldura si ne-au transmis o stare de bine. Camera noastra a fost spatioasa ,calda si curata ,exact ceea ce aveam nevoie. Hotelul este foarte aproape de aeroportul si orasul Oban . Zona in care este amplasat este minunata (chiar si cand ploua )si ne-am dorit sa fi putut sta mai mult . Am servit un mic dejun foarte bun si am intalnit oameni minunati. Daca am putea reveni ..........
