We stayed 5 nights with Obiwan and his crew and were so happy there. The view of the jungle was amazing (frequently we saw monkeys and lizards on the riverside), the beds were comfortable and the food really good for a low price. We did 3 tours with them, which we enjoyed a lot. We were traveling with two little children and the whole staff and guides were really great with them, making the trip for them and us very memorable. We can really recommend the whole package!

The place is great, but the people who run it make it excellent. We were still figuring and changing our plans often and they were very helpful and patient. The food Megan makes is one of the best I've had in Indonesia, ask if she can wip up a tempe bowl and you won't be disappointed. The place is clean, fun, cozy and all you need.

Is on the sea and in front of the best wave ever for beginners surfers. You can rent a board and get lessons from Mr Turis and Martin, expert surfers. All the people of the big Wau family will give you all their passion and help to make your stay a perfect time. You’ll find superlative food, fresh fish, juice, the best banana pancake of Sumatra. You can rent scooters and travel around the island, the traditional villages are very close, and also the big waves for expert surfers of Sorake beach are at 5 min walk. We’ll surely come back. The children will find friends to play with and many activities to do.

Gististaðurinn Stay KULTURA er staðsettur í Banda Aceh, Súmötrua-svæðinu, í 6,6 km fjarlægð frá Harapan Bangsa-leikvanginum. It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. It was nice to have a desk. We appreciated having a hot water shower. Close to some delicious restaurants. The staff was absolutely lovely, we highly recommend staying here and would come back if we are ever in Banda Aceh again!

Dolin Cottage er staðsett í Hilibotodane, nokkrum skrefum frá Sorake-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, einkastrandsvæði og sameiginlegri setustofu. It was a nice mix of traditional and modern. It's located right at the exit of Sorake surf spot, so it's a great spot for surfing. There's a terrace in front of each room, so you can sit, relax, and watch the surfers. Next door to the Dolin Cottage is a restaurant called 'BEOS PUB', where almost everything is generally good. I highly recommend the seafood pasta.

Ricky's Beach House er staðsett í Pasarsungai-nyala, 1,9 km frá Suadvadwipa-ströndinni og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, einkastrandsvæði og sameiginlegri setustofu. Ricky’s beach house has a great location! It’s away from the busyness and noise of the city on a quiet, beautiful beach. The staff were great! They were friendly, helpful and accomodating. Food was delicious and the live music at night was a bonus- just bring ear plugs if you like an early night! There’s great options for day trips- I loved the boat trip to the island, including snorkelling, snacks and lunch! The projects attached to the accommodation are super interesting and seem to be really making a difference for the community. Great job guys!

MB Camp Singkil er með ókeypis reiðhjól, garð, sameiginlega setustofu og verönd í Gosongtelaga. Gististaðurinn býður upp á sólarhringsmóttöku, flugrútu, herbergisþjónustu og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna. The owner was so kind and arranged the transportation we needed many times. The rooms are clean and the staff very nice. I would defenetely recommend MB Camp!

Panorama Seulako er staðsett í Sabang, 2,2 km frá Iboih-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, einkastrandsvæði og sameiginlega setustofu. We loved it so much we stayed for 5 extra days! You cannot beat this location. The snorkeling just in front of the bungalows is some of the best on the island. The rooms are simple and yes ours didn’t have a sink but it didn’t really phase us. The owners are lovely and very helpful.
