Delicious food, but especially the friendly people who work there made this an unforgettable experience for us. The guides during the jungle tour were very skilled, attentive and patient.

Megan and Mylan are genuinely nice and warm people! They made me feel so at home. They were super helpful, they picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station. Whenever I needed anything they were there! I was able to try out different surfboards that were in a pretty good condition. Mylan showed me all the surf spots. Megan cooked delicious food, different breakfast every day ❤️

The staff were very kind and helped us with organizing a taxi in the early morning, gave suggestions for food - especially nasi Padang with our favorite dish daging rendang - and prepared breakfast in the early morning (because we had an early flight to catch). The sanitary facilities were amazing; it was everything we needed after a full day or travelling.

Ricky’s beach house has a great location! It’s away from the busyness and noise of the city on a quiet, beautiful beach. The staff were great! They were friendly, helpful and accomodating. Food was delicious and the live music at night was a bonus- just bring ear plugs if you like an early night! There’s great options for day trips- I loved the boat trip to the island, including snorkelling, snacks and lunch! The projects attached to the accommodation are super interesting and seem to be really making a difference for the community. Great job guys!

We loved it so much we stayed for 5 extra days! You cannot beat this location. The snorkeling just in front of the bungalows is some of the best on the island. The rooms are simple and yes ours didn’t have a sink but it didn’t really phase us. The owners are lovely and very helpful.
