This motel is my go-to for affordable accommodation in waiouru it has everything we need as a family it has a laundromat (cash only) next door down the long driveway, across the road from the takeaways which is handy, subway on the right and Z gas station on the left which is 24hours. Cherie is a wonderful host and we always love staying at the roadside motel.

Everything was great, but window screens would really help – we wanted to let some fresh air in, but there were so many bugs outside that it felt a bit risky! Other than that, everything was fantastic – the shower and water pressure were absolutely top-notch.
