From the moment we walked through the doors we were made to feel special...that feeling lasted for the duration of our stay. The most perfect location, second to none service from every member of staff and a wonderful breakfast. The bottle of complimentary wine in our room was a lovely touch, as was our trip to the fabulous Leo's Rooftop Bar.

Hotel was in Buda and in my opinion was in a prime position being one street back from the Danube. Ideally placed between the Chain Bridge and the Metro station. Quiet area which suited us. Hotel was in an old monastery- very rustic - stone walls on show. Big rooms with plenty of space to move around and plenty of storage. Bathroom was excellent - again large with walk in shower- water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was good - large selection of both hot and cold food including Hungarian specialties. I love my latte's and whilst the coffee machine did not do latte, I had cappuccino and it was awesome - I am now a convert. I could have taken that machine home !!. 2 Restaurants on site although we didn't try either. Amazing strawberry lemonade from the garden bar. Staff all very friendly and helpful with particular reference to the male on reception. Hotel was great value for money in comparision to other Hotels in Budapest, and in busier locations. Depends on what you want from your trip.

Buda Castle

A splendid complex of domes, pillars and spires, Buda Castle’s treasures could keep you occupied for months. The 19th-century Presidential Palace oozes luxury with marble finishes and a white-washed façade, while the elegant Baroque Evangelical Church stands out with its simplicity. Keep an eye out for the intricately carved Holy Trinity statue, too.

    Beautiful to see.

    Beautiful to see. History like most of Budapests attractions abound in this location. Take a day or two just for the castle grounds. The views are spectacular and the people very friendly. We will be back here for sure. P.S if you are physically challenged make it 3 days eh!

    Hotel staff was very friendly and always smiling. Location to this hotel was very good as it is right under Buda castle and vey close to the center of Budapest. I paid for parking because i didnt want to leave my car on the street and they let me park there even after checking out from the hotel.

Our housekeeping complaints re the first room offered were handled & resolved swiftly. Our room was comfortable & the service provided was excellent. Gym and sauna in the basement were great. The steam room was not functioning. A good breakfast with plenty of options.

    Nice and quiet location in Buda, there is a park nearby, 5-10 minutes of walking to the nearest metro station and to the lift to Buda Castle. The apartment was clean and it was pleasantly cool during the hot summer days.

    The apartment was very well designed and decorated. It was very clean. The location is close to the chain bridge and the Buda castle funicular (2 min walk). Also the fisherman’s bastion observatory it’s is only 15 min walk away.

    The location is excellent, in a very good area. Breakfast is served at a café next door, or there's another option about a 10-minute walk away. The air conditioning was ice cold, and the bed was comfortable — really worth the money. Buda Castle is a 20–30 minute walk, and Heroes' Square is also within walking distance.
