Hotel was in Buda and in my opinion was in a prime position being one street back from the Danube. Ideally placed between the Chain Bridge and the Metro station. Quiet area which suited us. Hotel was in an old monastery- very rustic - stone walls on show. Big rooms with plenty of space to move around and plenty of storage. Bathroom was excellent - again large with walk in shower- water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was good - large selection of both hot and cold food including Hungarian specialties. I love my latte's and whilst the coffee machine did not do latte, I had cappuccino and it was awesome - I am now a convert. I could have taken that machine home !!. 2 Restaurants on site although we didn't try either. Amazing strawberry lemonade from the garden bar. Staff all very friendly and helpful with particular reference to the male on reception. Hotel was great value for money in comparision to other Hotels in Budapest, and in busier locations. Depends on what you want from your trip.

- View of the river and the iconic Parliament building - Great location close to the city center, with a tram stop nearby (just one stop on tram 19 or a short walk to the metro) - Very friendly staff, both at the reception and during breakfast - Spacious and nicely decorated room, good room lighting - Excellent window soundproofing – you can’t hear any street noise - It’s a small hotel, which some guests may find more comfortable - There’s a 24/7 convenience store behind the building near the hotel garage, in case you need anything

From the moment we walked through the doors we were made to feel special...that feeling lasted for the duration of our stay. The most perfect location, second to none service from every member of staff and a wonderful breakfast. The bottle of complimentary wine in our room was a lovely touch, as was our trip to the fabulous Leo's Rooftop Bar.

    The apartment was very well designed and decorated. It was very clean. The location is close to the chain bridge and the Buda castle funicular (2 min walk). Also the fisherman’s bastion observatory it’s is only 15 min walk away.
