This was our second family holiday to the sanctuary and it once again exceeded our expectations. Immersed in native bush land, with plenty of visits from the local wildlife day and night! A 25 minute bush trail on the property, fresh farm eggs & baked bread available daily from the hosts, this is truly relaxing and peaceful break from everyday life.

There was no breakfast. Stated as a “lodge”. Breakfast was not offered. Which I had made the assumption on booking that breakfast was included. Everything was lovely. Cleaning was a little below par. Right behind the bed were spider webs and as we were getting into the bed a rather solid spider appeared. And also on the balcony there were many spider webs. Which would have looked a lot nicer if there was none. Sadly my daughter has a phobia of spiders which made this issue significant!

Such a welcoming, cosy lodge in a great location. Only a ten minute walk from town or the beach and perfect for getting around the region. Serge was a lovely, smiley host. The room was perfect - so spacious with private patio doors out to the garden and a very thoughtful little mini bar. Even the lounge was bright and a nice relaxing place to come back to after a day exploring. Thank you for our stay!

From the moment we arrived at the property we were immediately impressed with the house. The interior is beatiful and clean, with more than enough room for me and my four friends. The location is really great too with the backyard opening up onto the local golf course, and the local tavern and iga being a 15 minute walk down the road. We have already started planning for our next trip and fully intend to rebook at the lodge. Highly reccomend for anyone looking for a bit of luxury while they stay down south.

Much more luxurious than I was expecting. Bathroom is massive. Direct access to the outdoor meant I could come and go without going through the shared areas of the lodge. Very comfy bed - I didn't want to get out. Fridge and microwave in the room. Location is on a quiet backstreet of Dunsborough, so good night's sleep guaranteed.
