The room was something out of a fairytale. My sisters said it was giving Outlander vibes which I loved. It was so romantic and calming for my partner and I, the tub was wonderful and relaxed my body. The breakfast was super nice and I love how it was presented.

Came for a wedding in the local area and this was the perfect little cottage to stay the night. Really communicative host, cosy room and very clean. Would happily stay again.

We stay here regularly. It is good value. The rooms vary a lot. We have stayed in many rooms now 6, 7 ,12 , 21, even the honeymoon suite . Some have been renovated, some not, I found a deal on bookinv.com for 79.00 a night. I am genius level 3. We had room 7 upstairs. The room was freshly painted, the timber furniture needed repolish ing. It had a good bed a couch to watch tv

I really enjoyed my stay at Holly Lodge. I had the Garden Suite which had multiple windows with plants outside each one, this really created a feeling of being on a break from life in the City! Steve the owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful even giving me a lift to my friend's wedding very close by since I didn't have a car and the roads do not have footpaths! The room had everything I needed. Most importantly the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was also very powerful. Everything was very clean. It was great to have a kitchen area with fridge, microwave, kitchenware and cutlery. Great heater as well since the evenings had started to get cold. Block out blinds made the room very dark which was great for a good night's sleep!
