We did not eat there but Yoriko brought us fresh strawberries one day after skiing. The location was very near the Tsugaike Ski Resort but a bit away from the other resorts in Hakuba Valley. We had a car but the bus service appears to be excellent. The in-house onsen (natural hot bath) was amazing. The hostess, Yorkiko, was very sweet and accommodating.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area.

Cozy little cottage, with ample heating. Comfortably fits 4 but otherwise would too crowded. Nearby transport shuttles are accessible. Overall great stay

Greg was a great host with amazing knowledge of local ski resorts, restaurants and general questions regarding Hakuba. The car is an elite bonus! The house was beautifully kept and had all essential items.

Located a 5-minute drive from Happo-One Ski Resort, the location of the 1998 Winter Olympics, Penke Panke Lodge and Apartments offers accommodation in Hakuba.

The beds were a little hard, but surprisingly comfortable. I very much enjoyed the breakfast too. It had a very homey atmosphere and the hosts were very friendly. The attached restaurant was excellent too.

Staff was friendly and property location was nice. Property was older and more run down, rooms had very outdated facilitates including the toilet, mimimal heating and the room was cold, shower pressure was very poor and very hard to relax in the room
