United KingdomThe owner is wonderful and a living connection to Morocco’s journey to independence. The location is truly sublime, the staff efficient friendly and helpful. This place is a guest house in the true sense. You feel a guest, as if you are invited to someone’s country home for the weekend. As you stay a few days - is worthy of at least 3, we stayed 6, you slip into a world of peace and gentility of times gone by and lost in the west. Ahmed is a talented chef. He asked what we liked then delivered wonderful meals. Local food done well - Tagline, Couscous and other dishes when we asked. Navarine of Lamb with Dauphinois potato and a chocolate torte. Wonderful. It felt like he was our chef.

The lodge is the last on the road, which means it's got an unobstructed view, silence, and peace. It is a great place to relax, away from the busy Medina, would recommend it to anyone who has a couple of nights to spare. We spent 2 nights there (wish it was more) and enjoyed every second of it. The food was good, the service was exceptional, very clean and tidy. The tents are very big and comfortable. The pool was very relaxing with the best aesthetic view, while the sunrise was the best picture. The staff was very kind and the lodge was spacious and clean. The activities provided were numerous. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and can arrange multiple activities for you like quad or camel riding. Our lodge was really big with a nice bathroom and a fireplace which they light for you in the evening. The breakfast is great. Beautiful view from the infinity pool. There are desert camps closer to the main road but it's worth driving further to get to Oxygen Lodge. Beautiful rooms and site, and such friendly staff. Food was great. There in Dec so evenings were cold but lots of heaters around, blankets outside and woodburning stove in the tents made them toasty warm. We had booked excursions through booking.com but they hadn't got them - though things were quickly and smoothly arranged for us by the staff. Impeccable service and hospitality, delicious food (especially the enormous breakfast!!), the tents were extremely clean and comfortable and offered all the amenities of a hotel room. The views were breathtaking from everywhere at the lodge and all the activities provided were extremely fun and well-organized. I can't think of one negative thing to say, I just wish we had planned to stay at Oxygen Lodge for more than one night! The atmosphere, the lodges, the dining and the pool area are amazing. The food was really good too.
