United StatesGreat space, amazing location and views over Whitianga and the harbor. Continental breakfast and espresso in the morning was perfect! Comfy bed, jet tub was great, and hosts were super nice. Would recommend to everybody!!

This is the perfect retreat, whether you’re a couple or traveling with friends. Debbie and Ernst are amazing and every single guest we interacted with, was just as great. Just book the place!

United StatesThis was like a five star hotel with an even better view!! Such a lovely property! Tom and Jo were wonderful hosts! Tom even made dinner reservations both nights for us at awesome restaurants nearby. The rooms are beautifully appointed with great bed linens and wonderful large, fluffy bath towels. The view from the room was of Cook’s Bay and it was stunning! We were treated to freshly cooked breakfast each morning where we had the opportunity to meet other fellow travelers. We would highly recommend Mercury Ridge ti anyone traveling in the area. It is a gem for sure!

The tui lodge is definitely one of the best places we have stayed so far. Simple, clean, quiet, affordable. Although the place has quite a few rooms, it never felt busy. You have 2 kitchens and several toilets around the area. It never gave me the "hostel impresion". Frances has a beautiful dog too! Her name is Nala, we love heeer! The breakfasts were superb. The hosts were exceptional, very friendly and offered great hikes, beaches, places to eat and the history of the area. The view from the veranda is spectacular.
