The lodge was very welcoming and comfortable, and we spent quite a bit of time in the evenings, by the fire playing chess or backgammon and sipping red wine. Guest kitchen and lounge room exceptional. Presume this was a lovely old home renovated for its use as a lodge? Tea/coffee biscuits available within our room as well as in the shared large guest kitchen which has full facilities. Lovely pool bbq area (bit of a downer that we didnt have a hot day as I was looking forward to a swim in the pool). The staff member that greeted us was wonderful.
