Very nice place to stay, has everything that you need, good internet and fabulous views! You might consider getting a car as it’s higher up and on a dirt road with a lot of mud if it rains. But if you don’t mind walking and being outdoors, then it’s doable without a car
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

Temeva Lodge was the most excellent place we stayed in Nuka Hiva. We loved the minimalist prefab home set up with modern amenities. Temeva was one of our favorite people we met during our stay and was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. The bedroom has a new boxspring queen matters, and the living room has two incredibly comfortable memory foam twin couches/beds. Located on the main road to the village and up the mountain it is easy walking or biking distance to the store, town, and a few shops.
