Excellent breakfast - we were planning an early exit on the 2nd day to make the most of the park but opted to stay for breakfast because it was so good on day 1. Fantastic setting and views. Lovely spacious rooms, very well equipped for the cold winter nights. Etta and her staff were fantastic welcoming hosts with plenty of good advice for Addo and the area. Check out the dungbeetle site for more tips.

Beautiful house with inside parking also super close to addo elephant park. The owner was very kind and helpful. She helped us booking our safari and gave us packed breakfast because we were living early. Very close to the only restaurant there is in the city

It was a great adventure sleeping in one of the tents right next to Addo Park fence. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights during our Safari trip to Addo. The lodge is right next to the Parks south gate.

We loved it all: the safari lodge style, the self-service bar, the room with the waterfall-like outdoor shower (view protected), the very good breakfast, the super tasty dinner - and the sympatic hosts! :-)

Beautiful lodge. Everything clean, very friendly staff and situated very close to the Addo NP. Many valuable information for tours. The breakfast was excellent with homemade rolls and whatever else you need. But the best was the 3 course dinner. We had fantastic Kudu, Ostrich and Warthog, prepared in different ways with different and very tasty sides! In a nutshell, one of the best lodges we have ever been to!

I have always wanted to stay in a safari tent and this was exceptional in my opinion. Not only was our tent right next to Addo Elephant Park where we saw a lone elephant grazing in the evening sun, but it was also supremely comfortable, appointed in a colonial style and with a deck and a separate seating area too. We had our own braai in the main lodge in the evening, the staff were really friendly and accommodating too. I only wish we had been able to stay another night!
