The setting of this accommodation is breathtaking, on a lake. We were welcomed by the Manager and taken to our lovely spacious and tastefully decorated room. The highlight of our time at Bambuu was watching hippos frolicking in the water in front of our balcony/terrace one of the mornings. (This obviously isn't guaranteed but a real treat). Our waitress Glen was really attentive and we loved that we were checked on regularly for drinks while lying by the pool. It was my birthday and we were given a bottle of champagne and cake which was greatly appreciated.

Perched high up in the forestry hills, Timamoon Lodge is located in Hazyview, just 800 metres from the R40. The lodge offers an outdoor pool, restaurant and terrace.

Amazing location, scenery and hospitality. We loved Renate’s stories. She is an excellent host with such a passion for her heritage. The food and wine was delicious and is such a confirmation of the ambience that she creates.

Situated by the Sabie River, Floreat Riverside Lodge and Spa features an outdoor swimming pool and views of the garden and the river. This lodge also has a lounge bar and a restaurant.
