Everything about Little Safari Lodge was perfect. We were looking for a chilled experience and were so happy with our stay. The game rides were exceptional. Robert and Mateo went above and beyond to ensure we had a very personal up close experience. They were just exceptional. The lodge was fantastic. The food was absolutely restaurant quality in taste and presentation. We had to cancel lunch one day as we were so full from breakfast. We saw all the big five and so many more animals in their natural habitat. Just stunning. We will be returning. Thanks for the best stay.

We had a fabulous cabin - right on the end with no fencing & we could watch the animals walk past. No tourists coming & going past us. We had the most knowledgeable thoughtful informative guide (Sodin)& spotter (Chris)who always knew where the animals were going& could drive around to get a closer look at them arriving

It’s hard to pick just one thing we liked, because honestly, this was one of the best stays we’ve had in all our extensive travels. Missing out on a place like this would be a real shame, the accommodation, interior, and rooms were absolutely top-notch. The location was also perfect for visiting Kruger National Park. Where to begin - I've stayed at my fair share of luxury hotels around the world but African Flair Lodge tops all of them. The huge size of the property for just one couple, the extremely unique and beautiful decoration, immaculate attention to detail and most importantly the hospitality is just unmatched elsewhere. From the moment you step into this property you can tell this is not just a commercially ran boutique hotel, this is a project that the host has poured her heart and soul into. We celebrated our second wedding anniversary at Makuwa Safari Lodge, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Breakfast was an absolute delight — each morning felt like something out of a dream. Simone prepared the most flavourful, beautifully plated meals with so much love and creativity. From the fresh fruit to the hearty warm dishes, everything was thoughtfully crafted and delicious. It was honestly one of the best lodge breakfasts and dinners we've ever had! The location is simply breathtaking. Nestled in a peaceful, private setting surrounded by nature, the lodge offered the perfect escape from the everyday rush. It’s serene, safe, and filled with those little quiet moments that let you truly relax, reconnect, and breathe. A heartfelt thank you to Simone and Morne for their warm hospitality and attention to detail. As a special surprise for our anniversary, they gifted us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, which made the celebration feel even more meaningful. The staff also went above and beyond to make our room feel romantic and welcoming, from chocolates on our pillows to petals on the bed shaped into a heart. Every little touch made us feel celebrated and cared for. We left with full hearts, happy memories, and a deep sense of gratitude. Makuwa Safari Lodge will always hold a special place in our story — we can’t wait to return!
