The host was very friendly and upgrade us. We stayed in the upstairs apartments viewing the river. Also very helpful to accommodate us for the one night stay and we enjoy our braai, atmosphere and sunset on the riverside.

I took a solo trip and didn't really plan on being around people much, but the staff were super friendly and made my trip so memorable. The food was so delicious and comforting 🫠! Sharon's cookies were also really tasty, I wish I had bought more to bring home. The room, bathroom, and bedding were all beautifully clean when I got there. Though it was really cold at night, the bed had an electric blanket, and there was a fan heater to warm up the room. I felt safe throughout, and this was really important since I was by myself. I was happy with the number of animals spotted on the game drive. I'd definitely return in summer. I think the place is beautiful. The gravel road was not too bad. I drive a grand i10 1.0, and I managed just fine.
