Set in Grindelwald in the Canton of Bern region, with Grindelwald Terminal and First nearby, Basic Rooms Jungfrau Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Rm 266 I think Room cosy with handbasin, only toilet and shower shared but never saw anyone else. Shower closest to the stairs was fabulous, lots of room, great pressure. Train track close but couldn't hear it with double glazing. Reception, breakfast and cleaning staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with ham, salami, cheeses and hard boiled eggs. Easy location to trains and having a free pass to the buses also great.

The hotel is located in the beautiful area of Wilderswil, near Interlaken. It’s exceptionally clean, peaceful, and run by a very kind and friendly staff. The building has a charming traditional exterior with a nostalgic touch, while still being modern and well-maintained inside. The staff cleans the rooms daily, ensuring everything stays spotless. Breakfast was quite good, especially the cottage cheeses, which gave me a real taste of natural Swiss food. The train station is just 100 meters away, and from there it’s only three stops to Interlaken Ost, with easy access to other destinations—including Lauterbrunnen and Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe. The hotel is also conveniently located near the bus stop for Line 105, which takes you directly to Interlaken West. Upon arrival, the hotel provides a tourist card that offers free public transportation within Interlaken, making it even more convenient to explore the area. They also lend umbrellas for unexpected weather with a small deposit, which is refunded when returned. Everything was excellent. it was a truly unforgettable experience for me.

The hotel's prime location provides easy access to the Jungfrau Region and various outdoor activities, making an ideal base for exploring Interlaken and the Swiss Alps, as we are located just behind... Surrounded by a large garden, Waldhuus Bellary is peacefully located at the foot of the Eiger Mountain at the edge of Grindelwald and, the hotel has been renovated in a retro 70s style.
