The host of this place Otto is a very energetic, hospitable and generous person. He tries not just meet your expectations, but exceed them, that’s why we felt like very welcomed guests. Otto picked us up from the train station, drove to supermarket in Visp, and he also offered to drive us to nice cosy restaurant in mountains but we decided not to go and relax in lodge. We had everything - fridge full with food, Lindt chocolates and drinks, 2 big TVs with Netflix, nice terrace, great sound system, comfortable bed and as a present to bring home - bottle of champaign. It was great stay and we hope to return again! Thank you, Otto!

El Edelweiss Mountain Guest House - 1 hour hike up from Zermatt station - On hiking trail - No transport está situado en una roca con vistas a Zermatt, a 1 hora y media a pie del centro de la ciudad... If you want to see the sunrise of Matthorn, definitely stay here. You just need hike one hour to get to the top with gorgeous view of Matthorn. Quiet and wide place, without crowded people. You can also meet edelweiss and blacknose sheep here! The hosts are so nice that they will help you to explore the area.

Lärchenwald Lodge se encuentra en Bellwald, en la región de Cantón del Valais. Ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, parking privado gratis y acceso a la sauna. Rápidos en acudir, aun con la poca antelación de la reserva. Habitaciones y baños limpios. Buenas cocina y vistas espectaculares.

Alpenlodge Kühboden está en Fiesch y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y TV de pantalla plana, además de restaurante y acceso a pie de pista. View is incredible. There is beginner terrain and challenging terrain, quality of snow and quality of pisting is excellent.

El Hotel Alpina está situado en Grimentz, un pueblo tranquilo de la zona alpina de Valais, a tan solo 30 metros de las pistas de esquí y frente al teleférico Grimentz - Zinal, y ofrece habitaciones... Unbeatable location if you are a skiier. As close to a ski in/out hotel one can choose. Assuming the snow conditions are good, you can literally ski to the foot/entrance of the hotel where the ski lockers are located. The ski lockers were also warm and well organized with plenty of storage for the gear and quick/easy access to the rooms. Restaurant and the staff were amazing. Parking availability was also appreciated. Though in busy periods you may be parked in and will have to wait a while to get your car out.

Täschalp Restaurant&Lodge está en Täsch y cuenta con vistas a la montaña, jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar. Estación de tren de Zermatt está a 12 km del alojamiento, y Saas-Fee está a 45 km. Very good value for money. Place has everything you need for a short stay. 3 course dinner after a long hiking day is a very nice guilty pleasure :)
