Otto, fully stocked up the fridge with food and drinks. The wine fridge was stocked up and had champagne, prosecco, red and white wine. We didn't have to leave the place to go and buy food which saved us a lot of money! I am pescatarian and he provided salmon and fish fillet! There was veg and non veg food stocked up. He has a lot of seasoning too! It is a 15 min walk from Stalden-Saas station, however if Otto is around he will pick you up or drop you off. We came here as we wanted to do a pre-wed photo shoot. The owner has lots of connections including having a helipad on his property. So we did a Zermatt helicopter tour for 1,000 CHF. I would definitely come back with just me and my partner to relax as we were so busy with out photoshoot.

Located high on a rock overlooking Zermatt, Edelweiss Mountain Guest House - 1 hour hike up from Zermatt station - On hiking trail - No transport is a 1.5 hours walk from the town centre up a hiking... If you want to see the sunrise of Matthorn, definitely stay here. You just need hike one hour to get to the top with gorgeous view of Matthorn. Quiet and wide place, without crowded people. You can also meet edelweiss and blacknose sheep here! The hosts are so nice that they will help you to explore the area.

This chalet-style hotel is located in the centre of Zermatt, within 500 metres of Zermatt Train Station and all cable cars. The Weisshorn’s restaurant serves Swiss cuisine and Valais specialities. Great friendly staff and good customer service. Great location, facilities, clean and very roomy.

We had a great time at this hotel! Everything was perfect - the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and the service was excellent. Breakfasts were delicious. The location was convenient and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others. Can't wait to go back!

Hotel Europe is located in the village Zinal, amongst the Swiss Alps and 400 metres from the cable car. Set on 1675 metres above sea level, this hotel offers a hot tub and rooms with a balcony. Friendly staff, whether it's the reception or restaurant at breakfast and dinner. They try to accommodate to our request as much as possible. Spa is new and enjoyable. Hotel guests need to book a time slot to use the spa; bathrobes, slippers and towels are provided. The ski room is great: spacious, neat and with ventilation.

Situated in the peaceful village of Grimentz amid the Wallis Alps, only 30 metres from the ski pistes and opposite the Grimentz - Zinal Cable Car, the Hotel Alpina features charming mountain-style... Unbeatable location if you are a skiier. As close to a ski in/out hotel one can choose. Assuming the snow conditions are good, you can literally ski to the foot/entrance of the hotel where the ski lockers are located. The ski lockers were also warm and well organized with plenty of storage for the gear and quick/easy access to the rooms. Restaurant and the staff were amazing. Parking availability was also appreciated. Though in busy periods you may be parked in and will have to wait a while to get your car out.
