Surrounded by a lush garden, Mallin Colorado Ecolodge offers wooden cottages overlooking General Carrera Lake. Great lodge in a wonderful location and unexoectedly good food. Very helpfull staff, Definitely worth the relatively high price.

Patagonia is a luxurious mountain lodge set against the panoramic backdrop of the snow-capped Andes. It offers 4 exclusive suites with free Wi-Fi and balconies with views of Coyhaique Valley. Ruth and her team are doing things right. It starts with the friendly staff (and perky rescue pets) at check-in. The rooms are impeccable. High-quality matress and bedding, beautiful wood materials, very nice bathroom with walk-in shower and excellent water pressure (not always a given in this part of the country). Large picture frame windows offering views of the surrounding scenery. The grounds are well kept with a focus on endemic species of trees and plants. We had dinner at their restaurant. Again, service with a smile and really good food. Breakfast was buffet style, with cooked-to-order eggs, a selection of pastries, meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, fresh baked bread, fruits, juices, etc. etc. We traveled around Chile for about a month, and this was hands down our favorite place.

Tranquilo Austral features lake views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Puerto Tranquilo, 1.3 km from Marble Chapels. The view was spectacular! An unobstructed view of the beautiful lake. The shower was heavenly after a day of hard driving. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Providing mountain views, Alto Castillo in Villa Cerro Castillo provides accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Hidden at the end of a path in a sublime place overlooking Cerro Castillo and the valley, this tastefully built and decorated lodge is run by lovely and attentive hosts. Between the incredible view from the suite and the quality of the meals (the best I've tasted in Chile so far) everything is done to ensure you have an extraordinary time. WOW!

Located in Puerto Bertrand in the Aysen region, Parador Loberias del Sur Puerto Bertrand provides accommodation with free private parking. A terrace can be found at the lodge, along with a garden. The hospatability and friendship of the stuff/the people. One feels like being in a family! Parc National Patagonia not far away.

Providing mountain views, Cabañas Kuyen in Coihaique provides accommodation, a garden and a terrace. It was even better than it looked in the pictures with a nice big log burner and lots of cut wood to keep everything toasty. But the best thing about our stay was the kindness and helpfulness of the hosts Ines and Hugo, who would always go the extra mile if you needed anything. So, although a bit out of town, getting in and out was not a problem. And Hugo would go out of his way to show us the local sights.

Featuring mountain views, Lodge BordeBaker in Puerto Bertrand features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Love this place! Incredible view from room, fantastic food- be sure to eat dinner there it was some of the best food we had in Chile. Great setting along the Rio Baker.

Patagonia Acres Lodge in Mallin Grande provides accommodation with free WiFi access, an equipped game room and a 9-hole golf course. Patagonia Acres is incredible - the most amazing views imaginable, excellent food (work up an appetite for the delicious home-cooked 3 course evening dinners!). Justin is a great host, very communicative both before and during our stay and he organised the most amazing day horse riding for us - one of the most perfect days of my life!

Lodge El Mirador De Guadal offers a stunning location on General Carrera Lakeshore, nestled against a panoramic Patagonian Mountain backdrop. We LOVED El Mirador lodge for the view, the design of the villas, comfort, the wood burning stove, the shower, the bedding, the mini-fridge not to mention the service. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant offered very good options for breakfast and dinner and did their best to accommodate my husbands vegan diet.
