Would highly recommend this place if in the area. The hosts made dinner each night and it was some of the best food we had on Carretera Austral!

Ruth and her team are doing things right. It starts with the friendly staff (and perky rescue pets) at check-in. The rooms are impeccable. High-quality matress and bedding, beautiful wood materials, very nice bathroom with walk-in shower and excellent water pressure (not always a given in this part of the country). Large picture frame windows offering views of the surrounding scenery. The grounds are well kept with a focus on endemic species of trees and plants. We had dinner at their restaurant. Again, service with a smile and really good food. Breakfast was buffet style, with cooked-to-order eggs, a selection of pastries, meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, fresh baked bread, fruits, juices, etc. etc. We traveled around Chile for about a month, and this was hands down our favorite place.

Patagonia Acres Lodge in Mallin Grande provides accommodation with free WiFi access, an equipped game room and a 9-hole golf course. The owner went above, and beyond expectations to make me feel welcome, accommodated, and made sure I enjoyed my day to the fullest.
