Mataveri International Airport is 5 km from the property, and the property offers a free airport shuttle service. The property itself is excellent. However it desperately needs air con as u cook inside the pods. The fan was almost non existent in the brutal heat. The staff were excellent but u need translation as English is not spoken. Pick up and drop off to the airport was very welcome. If u want to be close to the action tho, it’s not for you. Half hour walk to town in the heat isn’t doable. You need a car or scooter. It’s off the beaten track. The pool is a bonus but if ur in Easter island surely u won’t be laying around a pool at any time

Included pickup and drop off to the airport, helped us arrange all our tours, sent information about the trip ahead of time. Location was excellent, right off the Main Street and the beach/banks/car rentals. The cabins were clean, comfortable and included everything for a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the lodge. it’s in a garden near the airport ( but only 3-4 flights a week) and a 15-20 minute walk downtown the folks that run it are sweethearts they have rental cars so you don’t even have to leave the property for that…. and their jeeps are as cheap or cheaper than the places in town….

For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. They met us at the airport to shuttle to the Cabana even though the flight arrived a couple hours before "check in." We had a lovely cabana to ourselves with full kitchen, washing machine, and lounge. Was a nice walk into town but away from the hustle and bustle. Was quiet and tranquil at night.
