I loved my stay in retoño, a little paradise in front of the ocean, run by some of the kindest people I’ve met. I had an unforgettable 2 days in there and they can cook an amazing vegetarian meals, there are filtered water as well.

A long wooden platform guides you into your castle away from any distractions. This place is a hidden gem in the middle of the jungle. The pictures completley downplay how amazing this place is. A perfect sanctuary away from busy life it gives you what you need ,rest and peace. As you walk back out of your castle on a long wooden platform there you find pristine beaches for surfing a "paradise " depending on the rain and the light" . The food is super clean , the cleanest i experienced yet. And the assortment and variety was great. I had a mix of papaya pinapples and fresh fruit along side a well thought out breakfast .It felt like this place was visioned and built by travallers. Function is beauty. I loved being able to take the bicycle wherever i needed and the hosts were kind and were always checking if there's anything i need.

Jardín Botánico del Pacífico y Mecana Ecohotel se nachází v destinaci Bahía Solano a má restauraci, sdílený lounge, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled na moře. The walk through the forest with Antonio was amazing. The room was very clean and the meals were excellent.

Irana Pacific Hotel is situated in the perfect location, it’s a beautiful hotel and all the cabanas are directly in front of the beach, there are many adventure and cultural activities that hotel staff expertly and professionally arrange for guests. Irana Pacific Hotel has minimal carbon footprint, all power is generated through solar panels and batteries, yet has amazing WiFi. It’s super easy to get to the hotel, with flights to Nuquí from Medellin and Bogota, very affordable. The best part of Irana Pacific Hotel is the staff, special thanks to Marcela, Eber, and Diana, who made our stay so fun and memorable!

El Vijo Surf se nachází v destinaci Nuquí a má restauraci, službu concierge, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled na moře. Na místě je dostupné bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. El Vijo is a paradise, I would especially recommend it for groups and couples. It is about a 20 mins walk to the next (very) small village, although the walk is not always possible due to the tide. Adolpho and Deude did an amazing job. The food was delicious and Adolpho very kind and helpful. As a solo traveller I would recommend somewhere else but for couples seeking tranquility or groups of friends looking for an amazing experience I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next stay there.

Finca El Regalo nabízí restauraci, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Pláž Playa de Capurganá se nachází 300 metrů odtud. Gabriella the owner was super nice and welcoming and very helpful , the property is located a bit out of town but is very beautiful .

This place is pure magic, with a wonderful beach and nice places close by that you can visit. If you want to disconnect from the city this is the perfect place to rest and enjoy delicious food while reconnecting with nature. Everything is always clean and they are always ready to help. Oscar and her Luci were super kind and Leo prepared the best food with this amazing flavor that made us feel as we were at home (just a little better than home). They pay special attention to details, clean water inside your bedroom, filtered water to drink and delicios coffe and herbal tea to make tour stay pleasant.

Absolutely breathtaking surroundings The staff are so knowledgable, friendly and warm and couldn’t do enough to make our stay magical. The sound of the sea lulls you to sleep at night The food is absolutely amazing Whales are leaping out of the water right in front of your room So many incredible birds endemic to the area

The property was up the coast from Bahía Solano on Mecana Beach. A remote and beautiful part of the Pacific Coast. I didn't like the hotel I had originally booked so I quickly packed up and made this reservation last minute. I didn't know I'd have to take a boat from Bahía Solano (Mutis) to get there (I didn't read closely enough) but the owner Laura quickly arranged to have us picked up at the dock and we were sitting eating fresh fish and drinking cold beer after a short (20 minute) boat ride. This place was magical, both because of the setting but also largely due to Laura's energy and passion for the property. She is a warm, caring and accepting person and I feel lucky that we got to meet her and stay at her ecohotel. The food was delicious, fresh fish every day and everything was made in house. The place was perfect and just two minutes walk through the trees to the spectacular and peaceful beach. If you're the kind of traveller who needs air conditioning, sterilized rooms or you are high maintenance in any way I would say that this property is probably not for you. If you're like me and love to be close to nature and want to unplug and enjoy then don't hesitate to book here. I would go back tomorrow if I could!

Between the jungle and the ocean, we find this haven of peace! Claudia's kindness and Francisco's humor made this trip a wonderful one. Many thanks to Mirka and her fabulous cooking. Every dish from breakfast to dinner was perfect and above all local! Flavors you won't forget. In this place, we find Colombia as we dream of it, silence, nature. Francisco and Claudia helped us organize everything from the arrival from the airport, the activities, until the return. We shared moments together and an outing with them, to discuss everything, life, to learn from their daily lives! What happiness. We saw whales and the first swim of turtles! It is a place that I recommend 100%. If you are looking for a quiet place, with a heavenly beach, you have found the ideal hotel!! A huge crush ! Amis français, fonçez ! Cet hôtel nous ramène aux sources, vivre avec la nature et son temps. Muchas gracias Francisco&Claudia !!
