I loved my stay in retoño, a little paradise in front of the ocean, run by some of the kindest people I’ve met. I had an unforgettable 2 days in there and they can cook an amazing vegetarian meals, there are filtered water as well.

A long wooden platform guides you into your castle away from any distractions. This place is a hidden gem in the middle of the jungle. The pictures completley downplay how amazing this place is. A perfect sanctuary away from busy life it gives you what you need ,rest and peace. As you walk back out of your castle on a long wooden platform there you find pristine beaches for surfing a "paradise " depending on the rain and the light" . The food is super clean , the cleanest i experienced yet. And the assortment and variety was great. I had a mix of papaya pinapples and fresh fruit along side a well thought out breakfast .It felt like this place was visioned and built by travallers. Function is beauty. I loved being able to take the bicycle wherever i needed and the hosts were kind and were always checking if there's anything i need.

Dormir en medio de la selva chocoana en una cama deliciosa y con el mar frente es una gran experiencia.

This is a trip that is one of those you never forget. Staying at this hotel was surreal, I mean, you are in the middle of the jungle where you hear the sounds of nature like never before. Staff was awesome, we were very well taken care and the food was insanely delicious! Rooms were nice and clean!

Es un lugar muy agradable, la señora Gabriela y su empleada Tatiana super amables, atentas, cumplió con todas nuestras expectativas, mí hijo cumplió años y me ayudo a conseguir todo para su celebración y los desayunos muy variados y deliciosos. Un lugar que recomiendo al 100% por si te gusta la tranquilidad ya que solo se escuchan las olas del mar y el canto de las aves.

The property was up the coast from Bahía Solano on Mecana Beach. A remote and beautiful part of the Pacific Coast. I didn't like the hotel I had originally booked so I quickly packed up and made this reservation last minute. I didn't know I'd have to take a boat from Bahía Solano (Mutis) to get there (I didn't read closely enough) but the owner Laura quickly arranged to have us picked up at the dock and we were sitting eating fresh fish and drinking cold beer after a short (20 minute) boat ride. This place was magical, both because of the setting but also largely due to Laura's energy and passion for the property. She is a warm, caring and accepting person and I feel lucky that we got to meet her and stay at her ecohotel. The food was delicious, fresh fish every day and everything was made in house. The place was perfect and just two minutes walk through the trees to the spectacular and peaceful beach. If you're the kind of traveller who needs air conditioning, sterilized rooms or you are high maintenance in any way I would say that this property is probably not for you. If you're like me and love to be close to nature and want to unplug and enjoy then don't hesitate to book here. I would go back tomorrow if I could!

Contando con vista al mar, Ecohotel Bahía Terco en Nuquí cuenta con hospedaje, un jardín, una zona de playa privada y un restaurante. Nos encantó la relación con Claudia. Nos ayudó con todos los planes, cocina muy delicioso, me ayudó a preparar una sorpresa de cumpleaños para mi esposo, nos mostró lugares bonitos etc. Mil gracias! Además el lugar está muy tranquilo. Se puede disfrutar perfectamente la naturaleza y sus sonidos.
