I loved my stay in retoño, a little paradise in front of the ocean, run by some of the kindest people I’ve met. I had an unforgettable 2 days in there and they can cook an amazing vegetarian meals, there are filtered water as well.

Staff was awesome, we were very well taken care and the food was insanely delicious! Rooms were nice and clean!

If you want to disconnect from the city this is the perfect place to rest and enjoy delicious food while reconnecting with nature. Everything is always clean and they are always ready to help. Oscar and her Luci were super kind and Leo prepared the best food with this amazing flavor that made us feel as we were at home (just a little better than home). They pay special attention to details, clean water inside your bedroom, filtered water to drink and delicios coffe and herbal tea to make tour stay pleasant.

Ecohotel Riomar Mecana bevindt zich in Bahía Solano met uitzicht op de rivier en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar en tuin. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Where do I start? The property was up the coast from Bahía Solano on Mecana Beach. A remote and beautiful part of the Pacific Coast. I didn't like the hotel I had originally booked so I quickly packed up and made this reservation last minute. I didn't know I'd have to take a boat from Bahía Solano (Mutis) to get there (I didn't read closely enough) but the owner Laura quickly arranged to have us picked up at the dock and we were sitting eating fresh fish and drinking cold beer after a short (20 minute) boat ride. This place was magical, both because of the setting but also largely due to Laura's energy and passion for the property. She is a warm, caring and accepting person and I feel lucky that we got to meet her and stay at her ecohotel. The food was delicious, fresh fish every day and everything was made in house. The place was perfect and just two minutes walk through the trees to the spectacular and peaceful beach. If you're the kind of traveller who needs air conditioning, sterilized rooms or you are high maintenance in any way I would say that this property is probably not for you. If you're like me and love to be close to nature and want to unplug and enjoy then don't hesitate to book here. I would go back tomorrow if I could!

Er is een volledig uitgeruste eigen badkamer met douche en gratis toiletartikelen.... Everything is just like a dream here! The place is perfect, in the middle of the beach, close to Termales and close to playa Guachalito. You can see the Whales from the beach and babies tortules!! The jungle is amazing! Claudia And Francisco are really kind people with good energy and relax. Claudia makes incredible food, you’ll eat a lot of fish!! The room has no Windows as it’s like a kinda hut but you have mosquito net and everything is super clean! You can view the ocean from the room as it’s just in front! Anyway it’s a paradise and we are sad to go…. I highly recommend this Bahia Terco!
