Nina welcomed us as every hostel should welcome their guest . She also answered all our questions during our stay. All the staff member were awesome . Hostal was clean and easy to access with moto taxi . The view was amazing . Would highly recommend

Located in Buritaca, Finca La Selvita Chocolate experience provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. A balcony with garden views is offered in all units. Polo has clearly built and handpicked everything in this finca with so much love and dedication. Located deep in the jungle, it offers a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature, with only sounds of the wildlife and a river nearby for a refreshing dip (and weirdly, the WiFi was still one of the fastest I’ve used in Colombia). The food is simply outstanding - the best I’ve had in months of traveling South America. Alvaro, the chef, mostly uses ingredients from the finca’s own farm, creating delicious, well-balanced, and creative dishes. The chocolate tour is a must—easily the best chocolate I’ve had in South America. Everything here feels real, organic, and unforgettable!

Located in Minca in the Magdalena region and Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino reachable within 30 km, Terramia Estate provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private... Stayed here for 3 nights and it was superb! The location and the views are stunning and the ‘nest’ was very bright and cosy with a great big glass window to enjoy the view. We had all food made for us and it was truly delicious made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Daniel was incredibly kind and helpful with everything, including last minute requests. Thanks for a fantastic few days!

Providing mountain views, Wachakyta Ecolodge in Calabazo provides accommodation, a garden, a private beach area, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Free WiFi is provided. I’m writing this for the benefit of those who are thinking about booking and reading posts that seem to comment without understanding what Wachakyta is about. It scored 10 because the whole experience was brilliant. Where else in the world can you spend the night on a deserted beach, with a chef, a bar, unlimited water, coffee tea etc etc? There is also free wifi (which didn’t always work when you were away from the main area). But you have to realise you are in a beach hut. You’ll get critters, wind, the sound of the sea and everything nature has. Sure, you’ll also have a comfortable bed, good quality sheets (and a mozzie net) so it’s not without some creature comforts. The prices charged for food and drink were perfectly fine given everything (including you!!) has to be delivered by boat. And the food is cooked to order… they will come to find you about two hours before lunch or dinner and you make your selection and choose the time. The boat, by the way, is a separate business but you’ll get details on how to book and as someone who speaks only a little Spanish, the whole process was done by what’s app. They picked us up at 4.20 on the Wednesday exactly as promised. And that, my friends, is our summary. This is a get away from the world place. Enjoy nature, wildlife, the sun, the stars and escape.

Set in Minca, 19 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino and 22 km from Santa Marta Gold Museum, Minca Glamping offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain views. Location is amazing. Right in the middle of the nature! The family that runs the place is so kind in helpful. I had my foot injured and they offered to help me with my luggage (which was huge by the way). You feel that you are part of family there, they explain a lot of things about wildlife and plants, even they have a natural pool & jacuzzi ...if ypu go there it worth to give a try. The road until you reach the reception is so beautiful..really liked the bamboo bridge! They can help with organising tour (don't miss the birding tour in Minca)...also they organised my shuttle to the airport and everything went so smoothly. Thank you so much for a delicious breakfast and all the experiente that you offer for each person that stays at Minca Glamping. Definitely a place where I would like to come back. Feliz Navidad!

Boasting a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the mountain, Hierba Buena Eco Hostel is situated in El Zaino and features accommodation with free WiFi. The room we stayed in was beautiful. The place is nice and chilled. The staff was very helpful and kind, they told us great tips for routes and places to get food. The whole place is very cute having a nice swimming pool, beautiful garden and very intimate and not at all crowded natural pools in a river 5min up the path. There is a restaurant next door, called doña Marta, which is a must. Local economic authentic food. Easy to get there with public transport. In conclusion, although it is a 10 min walk from the main road, it was definitely worth taking the time to find the place.

Clean, spacious, very strong wifi, stuff very helpful and nice, amazing breakfast, very good ceviche, and fair price. And how to forget the beautiful nature around the hotel

Set in Santa Marta, 24 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino and 27 km from Santa Marta Gold Museum, Las Tekas offers accommodation with free WiFi, a garden with a terrace, and access to an indoor... The hostel is very close to centre, clean, comfortable. The owner is very kind mam, helped me to arrange trip to Tayrona park. I definitely reccommend the stay
