Situated 2 km from Abu Simbel Temples, Eskaleh Eco-Lodge offers a garden, a shared lounge and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. (From Switzerland, not Greenland as noted!) I can highly recommend Eskaleh Eco-Lodge for a stay in Abu Simbel. It occupies a quiet location on the edge of the small town with direct access to the lake and boats that you can take to the temples, though it's also within walking distance of them. "Far from the madding crowd", the buildings are in the beautiful traditional Nubian style, the welcome is friendly, the service very good and always with a smile, the food is delicious (especially the fish!), the rooms were perfectly comfortable and clean. Fikry & Shady and their staff will make sure you are well looked-after and wanting for nothing. Airport pick-up/drop-off, taxis and guides to the temples can all be easily and swiftly arranged. An experience to be repeated!

Providing river views, Eco Nubia in Aswan provides accommodation, a garden, a private beach area and a terrace. Free WiFi is provided. Its a no brainer to stay at this place for at least a night or two.. the location is just out of this world. Having dinner or breakfast while watching the Philae temple is something else. The employes are super nice, the rooms are clean and the food is great.
