Situated in Ratho, 12 km from Forth Bridge, and Edinburgh Zoo reachable within 12 km, Lost Shore Surf Resort offers a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi. Beautiful spot on the hill overlooking the waves in a very new and cozy modular home. Everything is new and high quality. Staff were amazing and helpful! Kids and I got tons of waves. Takes a few sessions to get the takeoff dialed in. My only minor challenge was getting to the lodge from the parking lot. You can't park at the house so you need to arrange a ride in the resort's cart. Not a huge deal, but be prepared to walk/hike a bit.

Situated 26 km from Mugdock Country Park, Westertonhill Lodges features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Several beautiful and nearly newly built cottages await the visitor. The furniture and appliances were top notch, everything was clean and check-in and check-out were excellent and easy. It's very quiet and a short walk from Balloch through the park so you don't need to take a car or taxi if you want to go for Dinner or a drink. The caretaker was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Featuring mountain views, Little Fox Lodge Luxury Hideaway with Hot Tub Glencoe Near Fortwilliam features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 6.9 km from Loch Linnhe. Luxurious, amazing views and location, private hot tub, and beautiful gardens. This “hideaway”had every detail covered, from the posh inside to the outside, it was outstanding. The hosts were great, and gave really good recommendations about restaurants and activities in the area, including a walking trail along the water just across the road! Glencoe mountains are just up from here. We definitely plan to come back!

Located in Luss in the Argyll and Bute region and Glasgow Botanic Gardens reachable within 35 km, Bonnie Barns - Adults Only Luxury Lodges with hot tubs provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ... We could not have asked for a better location. We ended our trip to Scotland in Luss and didn't want to stay in a place where we be subjected to crowds. We found absolute peace and comfort at Bonnie Barns, not to mention a view you could not take your eyes off of (and from a hot tub). Even the sheep and lambs running about the property were so much fun to watch. The cabin/pod was very well designed, modern, and exceptionally clean. We loved the unexpected, but very welcomed inclusion of bathrobes! We had no problem moving around. There were even outlets for electronics liberally placed about and ample shelfs to place small things on. We wanted to cook our own meals while there and were not at loss for kitchen supplies, including a clean gas grill. Even the refrigerator was well sized to hold at minimum of a couple of days supply of food and had ice in it upon our arrival! Perfect. I wish I could have spoken more to the manager, who my husband says was super friendly and gave him all kinds of information about the farm, but we came in late and were gone most of the day to enjoy nearby hikes and exploration. Oh - and if you go into Luss, don't miss the "Fairy Trail" - it will take your mind off of being too serious. Then go hike up Beinn Duhb for some excellent views. Coach Coffee Stop has great ice cream!

Stoneymollan over Loch Lomond features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Balloch, 27 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens. Both Brian and Gillian were superhosts, going above and beyond to make the stay special. The pod is very comfortable and has everything needed. My wife and I highly recommend to stay here when you want access to Loch Lomond, Luss and surrounding areas.
