Probably the most unique and beautiful places I have ever had the fortune to stay. Silk sand and crystal clear water! Sook Peng and Fred are wonderful and kind hosts who help to ensure a brilliant stay. They help to organize all the travel arrangements from your lodgings in Kota Kinabalu to the island via car and boat, and it all worked seamlessly. The food that Sook Peng cooked was simply fantastic and some of the best I have had during my whole trip. The lodge is very unique and they take their environmental responsibility very seriously. Staying on the island is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s completely deserted apart from a small village and there are lots of different activities one can do. (Kayak, snorkel, diving, guided walks). We did bonfires at night and spent the days in hammocks just meters from the beach as the local island cows wandered past.

Situado no topo de uma colina com 100 metros e vista para a Reserva Florestal Kinabatangan, o The Last Frontier Boutique Resort está localizado em Bilit, a 2 horas de carro do bonito Sandakan. one word: amazing! if you had the chance I would recommend to book this place! Jason Grent and the staff are very friendly, they have just 4 rooms so they take care of all their people! this is a true experience into Borneo wild life…we had a lucky meeting with an orangutan nearby the rooms! the eco resort is located up to a hill but is not difficult to go upstairs since you are incredibly absorbed in the nature! they organised everything perfectly: 2 boat trips and one trekking up to a hill (about 2,5h). You have enough time to rest. They also care a lot about our transfer at the check out to Semporna, we could not ask for more!! The food was also good, even if for me a little bit too “western”, banana pancakes and nasi goreng were special!! rooms are big essential and comfy. this experience is worth to do, just remind the Jungle itself is a little bit noisy special during the night, we slept well anyways. thanks again! I would come again!

Bayu Senja Lodge apresenta vista do jardim, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito em Kampong Kundassan. We stayed at this lodge for one night. It's very nice and comfortable lodge especially the room with balcony. It's beyond my expectations. Very clean and tidy room. The toilet is also very clean, shower and heater works properly and great. The view from this lodge is very amazing although mount Kinabalu is not at our side but the view is still very nice and amazing. Overall, Bayu Senja Lodge ( especially the room with balcony ) is very nice, good and comfortable to stay. The management should build more room like this in the future. Once the lodge canteen starts operating, the lodge has become much better place to choose for staying.

Borneo Jungle Adventure encontra-se em Kinabatangan e apresenta acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, um terraço e comodidades para churrascos. The accommodation was clean, the bed comfortable, the food delicious and the whole team that looked after us were nice, helpful and attentive. The internet is only in the dining room, but that didn't bother us. The hot water is running, and you can even see wild animals right from the accommodation. And thanks to Mika our guide and Ten Ten, the boat captain, we saw all of Borneo's big five 👍

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort situa-se em Sepilok, na região de Sabah, e dispõe de acomodações com estacionamento privado gratuito, assim como acesso a uma banheira de hidromassagem. Really amazing place to stay near all of the sights in Sepilok. I chose to walk everywhere and it seemed to be in a pretty central location. Food was tasty and staff was friendly.

Nulu View Cabin localiza-se em Kampong Kundassan, na região de Sabah, e fornece acomodações com estacionamento privado gratuito. Great view, superb facilities, clean & comfortable.

Apresentando vista do mar em Semporna, Maglami-lami Water House apresenta acomodações e um restaurante. Existe uma casa de banho privativa totalmente equipada com bidé e chinelos. Great view, great food, great location, fun and warm staff (special thanks to Jim , Dana and Liza). Comfortable room with lots of fishes just by snorkeling around the resorts.

Tampat do Aman localiza-se em Kudat e fornece acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, um jardim, um terraço e um restaurante. Howard has created a beautiful lodge intertwined with the surrounding environment, going above and beyond for any guests needs, the wildlife reserve he has created is fantastic for bird spotting and if you're lucky enough to be there when he does his edible and medicinal plants tour and traditional rungus lunch don't hesitate.

Com vista da montanha, Sabah Tea Resort encontra-se em Ranau e possui acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. This was an incredible place. We spent a night in the longhouse and ate in the restaurant. The longhouse was brilliant. It was so exciting to have this experience and it was far more well appointed than we expected with sinks and lights in each room! The open air restaurant that looks out over the tea gardens and Mt Kinabalu is in a stunning setting and the food was delicious..None of us wanted to leave!
