Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater. Amazing experience! Probably the most unique and beautiful places I have ever had the fortune to stay. Silk sand and crystal clear water! Sook Peng and Fred are wonderful and kind hosts who help to ensure a brilliant stay. They help to organize all the travel arrangements from your lodgings in Kota Kinabalu to the island via car and boat, and it all worked seamlessly. The food that Sook Peng cooked was simply fantastic and some of the best I have had during my whole trip. The lodge is very unique and they take their environmental responsibility very seriously. Staying on the island is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s completely deserted apart from a small village and there are lots of different activities one can do. (Kayak, snorkel, diving, guided walks). We did bonfires at night and spent the days in hammocks just meters from the beach as the local island cows wandered past.

Set atop a 100 metre hill overlooking the Kinabatangan Forest Reserve, The Last Frontier Boutique Resort is located in Bilit, and is located a 2 hour drive from the beautiful Sandakan. one word: amazing! if you had the chance I would recommend to book this place! Jason Grent and the staff are very friendly, they have just 4 rooms so they take care of all their people! this is a true experience into Borneo wild life…we had a lucky meeting with an orangutan nearby the rooms! the eco resort is located up to a hill but is not difficult to go upstairs since you are incredibly absorbed in the nature! they organised everything perfectly: 2 boat trips and one trekking up to a hill (about 2,5h). You have enough time to rest. They also care a lot about our transfer at the check out to Semporna, we could not ask for more!! The food was also good, even if for me a little bit too “western”, banana pancakes and nasi goreng were special!! rooms are big essential and comfy. this experience is worth to do, just remind the Jungle itself is a little bit noisy special during the night, we slept well anyways. thanks again! I would come again!

Objekat Borneo Jungle Adventure, koji je smešten u gradu Kinabatangan, u ponudi ima besplatan WiFi, a gostima su na raspolaganju terasa i sadržaji za pripremu roštilja. The accommodation was clean, the bed comfortable, the food delicious and the whole team that looked after us were nice, helpful and attentive. The internet is only in the dining room, but that didn't bother us. The hot water is running, and you can even see wild animals right from the accommodation. And thanks to Mika our guide and Ten Ten, the boat captain, we saw all of Borneo's big five 👍

Great view, great food, great location, fun and warm staff (special thanks to Jim , Dana and Liza). Comfortable room with lots of fishes just by snorkeling around the resorts.

Howard has created a beautiful lodge intertwined with the surrounding environment, going above and beyond for any guests needs, the wildlife reserve he has created is fantastic for bird spotting and if you're lucky enough to be there when he does his edible and medicinal plants tour and traditional rungus lunch don't hesitate.

Objekat Sabah Tea Resort, koji je smešten u gradu Ranau, nudi pogled na planinu i besplatan WiFi. Property is settled in beautiful nature surrounded by tea plantation with direct view to Mount Kinabalu. Challets are extremely good value for money, clean and comfortable. Restaurant offered very tasty food with very good quality at reasonable prices. We stayed there just one night when we were transferring from Kinabalu national park to Sepilok, but it was a great choice. We would wished to spend one day more there to explore the surroundings.
