Il tabari dive lodge si trova su un’isoletta quasi deserta in mezzo al nulla davvero paradisiaca. L’atmosfera è accogliente e familiare, si cena tutti insieme nella capanna sull’acqua, il bravissimo e giovanissimo chef Yosua ha preparato delle cene spettacolari e ci ha anche deliziato con la sua bellissima musica dal vivo. La nostra stanza era bellissima, curata e pulita ogni giorno. Le gite di diving e snorkeling che organizzano sono ottime, ci siamo trovati benissimo sia io che facevo solo snorkeling, che mio marito che faceva diving. Le location sono spettacolari, piene di pesci e fondali meravigliosi. Ho fatto con loro anche il battesimo di mare e le guide sono state eccezionali, sopratutto un grazie speciale a Like e Olan che ci hanno accompagnato sempre con il sorriso, professionalità e disponibilità. Brigitte è una persona gentile e premurosa come una mamma con tutti i suoi ospiti. Il Tabari è una realtà piccolina ma piena di gentilezza e buone vibes che ti lascia un magico ricordo. Spero di poterci tornare un giorno, per ora grazie di cuore Tabari

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Friwen Mangrove Eco Lodge – this place is truly a slice of paradise. The bungalow is incredibly cozy, and the atmosphere is peaceful and serene. Rashid, the host, is one of the most caring and attentive people we’ve met – he made us feel completely at home. You can snorkel right from the doorstep of your bungalow, and honestly, even if you don’t go anywhere else, just being here is already magical. That said, it’s also a perfect base for exploring – Rashid has a boat and can take you to beautiful spots around the islands.

Methos Homestay - Raja Ampat si trova a Yennanas Besir e propone la vista sul mare, un giardino, una zona spiaggia privata, una terrazza e un barbecue. Absolutely stunning location. We stayed on Gam at Methos for a few nights and and the remainder of our stay on Kri and we really wished we had stayed at Methos longer. What I liked the most was the coral reef in front of the bungalow as it was absolutely stunning. You can see so much wildlife right from the deck. I saw baby sharks, stingrays, cuttlefish, etc directly in front which is wonderful for snorkelers. The room itself was very comfortable, with shelves to unpack your things and a large four-poster kingsize bed. The bathrooms are around 100 meters from the rooms and were clean enough. Alternatively....there is the ocean. They give you water tanks for fresh water to drink from and use for washing your hands in your rooms as well as large thermoses each day containing boiled, hot water for coffee/tea. We went on three tours with Methos as well - Gam, Manusuar, and the bird watching tour. The tours were all well-planned and well-organized. I went on many tours from Kri, but the day I went with Methos to Manusuar, I saw way more. About 15 minutes from Methos, we jumped off the boat and saw about 15 Mantas swimming together at the surface. The guide from the guidehouse brought banana peels and when we went to Yenbuba jetty, we were surrounded by tons of tropical fish which was really amazing. We saw around 5-6 turtles. The jellyfish lake was also really closeby and it was so cool to swim with jellyfish that weren't constantly attacking you (which wasn't the case for Kri..). The bird watching tour didn't end up resulting in seeing too much, but that's just a matter of luck, not the fault of the tour. As for the room, they gave us a container to keep food in so we didn't have any issues with pests. The homestay is also close to three villages that sell snacks and drinks which wasn't the case for Kri island. It's nice to be able to go for a walk and stretch your legs and the locals were all friendly towards us.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The view is breathtaking 😍 I stayed for a week and was sad when I had to leave. I enjoyed the dives with divemaster Abang. The food was delicious. Bucket showers and back to basics, I really loved the entire experience so much! Thank you Herman, Nani, Abang and the rest of the staff for such an amazing stay on Kri Iskand! 🙏🥰
