Situated in Bukit Lawang, Green Travelodge Bukit Lawang offers accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Guests at the lodge can enjoy cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. The place is absolutely great! Located in quiet part of the village, on the edge of the jungle, yet close to village centre and easy to walk around. Huts are beautiful, surrounded by wonderfully maintained garden. Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely equiped. There is no aircon, but fan was enough. Breakfast is tasty. Personnel is very friendly and helpful, there is very nice atmosphere in this place. They organized transport for us to and from Bukit Lawang. They arranged for us village tour (sugar factory, rice fields etc.) and 1 day jungle trek with rafting at the end, and all was perfect. Our guides Eman and Rizky took super care of us, we felt very safe with them. They shares their jungle knowledge with us, they did great job to show us many animals. We saw orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys, macaques, argus, monitor lizard! That was fantastic stay and great trek! Highly recommended!

Coming here is an authentic and amazing experience in the nature. The lodges/bungalows are in the jungle, they are basic, an amazing camping spot in the jungle to escape from the city life. You can see monkeys and animals from your bed in the morning. The people are amazing, kind and really available to help you in any situation. Book here your jungle trekking (I did the 2 days trekking with one night in the jungle), the experience is really beautiful and the guides Cici, Sam and the owner Uddin are the best. Starting being your guides, they will become your friends! Lovely people and also careful about sustainability. It exceeded my expectations.

Situated in Bukit Lawang, On The Rocks Bungalows, Restaurant and Jungle Trekking Tours features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. We were treated like family at on the rocks, wawan and his team were so helpful and friendly that we instantly felt at home. I cannot recommend staying here enough. We did multiple treks with Wong and he was wonderful, so much information to share but also never even felt like he was a guide. Treks can be suited for your fitness level but you are almost guaranteed to see orangutans no matter where you go. The restaurant was also delicious.

I stayed in a recently renovated room with beautiful views of the river! The restaurant attached has such a cool ambiance - a great place to read or study. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Rooms were very clean and neat and an easy walk towards the forest or shops nearby!

With garden views, Para para cafe & cottage is situated in Berastagi and has a restaurant, room service, bar and garden. Mount Sinabung is 23 km from the lodge. The architecture of room that is like the batak traditional house. Comfortable even though there is no fan or air conditional. The family room is spacious. The resort has nice landscape garden. There is a vegetable farm beside the accommodation. Have nice view of Gunung Sinabung. Although breakfast is not included, it's cafe also serves delicious western food. Like the quiet yet calming of the atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended!
