The staff is very kind, they gave free food to us and items for our food. The bungalow is maybe basic, but that's exactly why everyone comes to Bukit Lawang, back to basic! The family bungalow gives you a lot of privacy and constantly seeing monkeys in the trees. On the first evening we spotted an urang utang walking next to our bungalow!

Amazing place, the location is superb in the centre of the picturesque village Bukit Lawang and next to the river! The staff is absolutely amazing, and the food wow.. Furthermore we did the 3 days/2night jungle trek with Andy and Jerry, which was absolutely incredible. The tour was full of insights on the local flora and fauna, accompanied by well organised base camps and great food. We can do nothing but recommend this place! Looking forward to being back, Lara and Stijn!

Livio Homestay está en Andalas, a 50 km de Palacio Hatta, y dispone de alojamiento con terraza, wifi gratis y servicio de habitaciones. Este alojamiento con vistas a la montaña ofrece balcón. Fuad, the owner is a beautiful person. Made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make sue we enjoyed our stay in Harau Valley. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to visit and stay at Livio!

Garden Inn se encuentra en Bukit Lawang y ofrece wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. Algunas unidades incluyen zona de estar y/o balcón. En el lodge se sirve un desayuno a la carta. El lugar en si es hermoso, tiene vista al rio, unos jardines muy bien cuidados, terraza, un bar restaurante, dónde el personal atiende muy bien. La cabaña es rústica (no tiene aire acondicionado ni frigobar). Coordine directo con el hotel el traslado del aeropuerto de Medan al hotel, el auto no puede llegar a la puerta del hotel ya que esa zona no lo permite y nos llevaron en moto, todo muy bien organizado ( mi vuelo llego a las 10 pm) deje reservado el tour al otro día a la selva por un día, execelente (nos dieron almuerzo y ensaldas de frutas). El desayuno un poco pobre, te con pan con huevo o panqueques, pero el resto es maravilloso.

On The Rocks Bungalows, Restaurant and Jungle Trekking Tours está en Bukit Lawang y dispone de wifi gratis, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. We were treated like family at on the rocks, wawan and his team were so helpful and friendly that we instantly felt at home. I cannot recommend staying here enough. We did multiple treks with Wong and he was wonderful, so much information to share but also never even felt like he was a guide. Treks can be suited for your fitness level but you are almost guaranteed to see orangutans no matter where you go. The restaurant was also delicious.

I stayed in a recently renovated room with beautiful views of the river! The restaurant attached has such a cool ambiance - a great place to read or study. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Rooms were very clean and neat and an easy walk towards the forest or shops nearby!

One of us forgot their phone on the way to airport and the staff willing to sent them. Thank you. Keep up the good work

Para para cafe & cottage tiene vistas al jardín y está en Berastagi. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de habitaciones, bar y jardín. Mount Sinabung está a 23 km del alojamiento. The architecture of room that is like the batak traditional house. Comfortable even though there is no fan or air conditional. The family room is spacious. The resort has nice landscape garden. There is a vegetable farm beside the accommodation. Have nice view of Gunung Sinabung. Although breakfast is not included, it's cafe also serves delicious western food. Like the quiet yet calming of the atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended!

AAL Homestay está en Sabang y dispone de vistas al mar, jardín, zona de playa privada y terraza. Hay un parque acuático en el propio alojamiento, y se puede practicar pesca cerca. Small apartment with private bathroom and western shower. Balcony with Sea view. Only 10 meters to the Ocean (private beach). Free drinking water and hot water. It’s possible to buy coffee and small goods at the hostel. The owner is very kind. Bed is big and comfortable. Fan is enough to keep the room cool with open windows.
